A candle with a scent profile as rich and grounding as rain settling over open plains. Ancient baobab and acacia rise after rain in the African bushveld, the air heavy and clean. Fresh galbanum and jasmine lift with sweet peach, settling slowly into moss, vetiver, and rich earth.

Each candle is hand-poured in small batches in South Africa, presented in a beautifully weighted 400ml glass jar finished with a natural bamboo lid. Net weight 270g, with over 50 hours of clean, even burn time, made using 100% natural soy wax, a premium fragrance oil, and a cotton wick.

As a handmade product, you may notice subtle variations in colour, texture, or a gentle frosting on the surface from candle to candle. These aren’t flaws. They’re simply the natural signature of soy wax and proof that your candle was made by hand, not on a production line. No two pours are ever quite the same, and that’s part of the charm.

To get the very best from your candle, allow the wax to melt fully from edge to edge on the first burn. This prevents tunnelling and keeps every burn to come nice and even. Trim the wick to 5mm before each use and keep it centred, and burn for no more than 4 hours at a time. Discontinue use once 10mm of wax remains. Always burn within sight, on a stable, heat resistant surface, at least 30cm away from drafts, children, pets, and anything flammable. Do not move the candle while it is lit or while the wax is still hot, and never extinguish it with the lid. Allow the candle to cool fully before handling. Once finished, simply clean the jar with warm soapy water and give it a second life around the home.
